Bloodworks NW wanted an initiative on the Washington State legislative docket. Like, yesterday. They commissioned me to quickly design a petition website to support their efforts. I put it together over the New Year ’16 holiday and we launched. We barely collected a signature and still exceeded expectations: The credibility the site immediately lent Bloodworks and stakeholder efforts helped fast track the initiative through the state senate. Within weeks it was brought to a vote and passed — no petition required!

Some time later, when the bureaucracy slowed down, Bloodworks asked for a site update focussed on getting lawmakers to do what they’d pledged to do. That’s first, below, followed by the original site.
