Kimberly Fowler, founder/owner of Venice, CA-based YAS Fitness, first hired me to design the author website for her Rodale book, The No OM Zone. Like most publishers these days, Rodale requires its authors to have such sites.

I was soon on retainer with Kimberly and YAS, overseeing and publishing The No Om Zone (maintaining it and ghost blogging for Kimberly). And designing and copywriting The No OM Zone Workout DVD case and booklet. And writing, directing and editing Kimberly’s (Rodale-mandated) author video. And making event videos for YAS. And cutting together a sizzle reel from her (frankly impressive) press. Also, doing various graphic design for her and YAS. And helping YAS and Kimberly establish social presences and strategies. Even writing a book proposal that landed her the sequel to a NYTimes bestseller. (Months later she asked me to co-author the book. Alas, prior commitments…)

During my tenure working for Kimberly and YAS, the business expanded from one location to four and The No OM Zone book and DVD became bestsellers (and she landed that sequel). It was entirely due to Kimberly’s badassery. But I had her back in a major way.
